1st International Multimedial Art Festival - IMAF was opened in Odzaci on December 11th 1998, in new MAS Gallery organised by Multimedial Art Studio. Festival was opened by art historian from Belgrade Slavko Timotijevic, and for five days we observed art happenings: exhibitions, performances, video projections and lectures.

Art works of 65 artists from 15 countries from Nenad Bogdanovic`s international project called “Man Gallery” were exhibited at MAS Gallery. Another international art exhibition was also held in Cultural Center of Odzaci from works arrived on open  invitation for IMAF. Jury of the IMAF festival awarded professor Kum Nam Baik from Seoul (South Korea) for his graphics.

Performances and art actions in MAS Gallery were made by following Yugoslavian artists: Nenad Bogdanovic, Nikola Sindik, Balint Szombathy, Jaroslav Supek, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Sandor Gogolyak. Guest from Japan Hero Itoh made three performances. Video works made by many authors  from different countries were played between performances.
